Kara Lee

Kara Lee is a wife, mama, creative, and connector. She is passionate about people and creating spaces for them to gather and connect. She is originally from Houston, Texas and moved to San Diego 7 years ago with her husband and three children. Kara was a vocal music major at Baylor University and spent 15 years in the creative media world writing, directing, acting, and singing for both film and stage. She founded her nonprofit, The Well Community for Women in 2018 where she is currently acting as CEO. The Well is a community for women and children that offers co-working space with childcare and special events all benefiting women in need. She is also the owner of Next Door Photos, a real estate media company that outsources the editing to highly skilled survivors of human trafficking in the Philippines. Kara is also a director and teacher for Christian Youth Theater and a worship leader. She is passionate about supporting women and children, helping the underprivileged, raising awareness for human trafficking and bringing joy wherever she goes.
